At the University of Waikato our motto is 'Ko Te Tangata', which means 'For the People'. This reflects our philosophy that we are in, of, and for the community. That includes our special connection with Tainui as mana whenua, and our commitment to the iwi forum of Te Rōpū Manukura as a partner of the University.
As a member of our community, you are welcome to visit and get involved in the happenings on campus, and the work that we do. Before you visit, take a look at our latest Covid-19 information.
