Silverdale Road Apartments
Applications for 2024 open 1 August. Please apply by 30 September 2023 to ensure you are considered for your preferred hall.
Silverdale Road Apartments (part of Orchard Park), located by gate 11, offer an independent lifestyle designed for post graduate and mature students who want the convenience of living close to campus. Each apartment has its own kitchen, bathroom and queen bed with a living/study space.
Silverdale Road Apartments are not available for school-leaver students.
Apartment facilities
- Ideal for single person occupancy however very limited apartments may be offered to couples.
- Fully equipped kitchen - full sized oven, cooktop, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. Residents will need to bring their own cookware or purchase a kitchen pack from the accommodation office for $145
- Furnishings - queen bed, two seater couch, wardrobe, desk, office chair, notice board and bookshelf
- Laundry
- Common room - shared space with kitchenette, TV and couches
- Bike sheds
- Access to Orchard Park’s Facilities - TV, pool table, table tennis and BBQ area

*Only students enrolled for 1 Trimester will be offered an 18 week contract (Study Abroad / exchange students or anyone finishing off their studies.(Everyone else will be offered a 37 or 50 week contract.)

| Linen Pack (optional) | $210 | A bed and mattress protector are provided in all Halls bedrooms. Students can either choose to bring their own linen (Queen bed) or purchase a linen pack for $210 (includes duvet inner, pillow, sheet set, duvet cover set and towels) |
| Reserved Parking (optional) | $350 | Each hall has limited reserved parking. Alternatively, Licence to Hunt parking permits can be purchased via the ‘PayMyPark‘ app. |
| Kitchen Pack (optional) | $145 | Residents will need to bring cookware or they can choose to purchase a kitchen pack from the Accommodation office for $145. |
