Quizzes

The Quiz activity module allows the teacher to design and build quizzes consisting of different types of questions, such as multiple choice, true-false, short answer, and drag and drop images and text. These can be used as online replacements for tests or exams. If you have questions regarding the functionality of quizzes in Moodle please contact Teaching Development Advisors.

Before creating your quiz we strongly recommend you create your questions in the Question bank. The Question bank allows you to create, edit, and preview questions which can then be attached to quizzes. Through this method questions can be easily imported from different papers, and used year after year. You can also import many file types of quiz questions into your Moodle Question bank.
