My Feedback - Written Comment
Written comment on draft
You receive written feedback from a Student Learning tutor on your assignment. We do this in Feedback Studio, via Moodle. Please be aware that it is not a face-to-face consultation.
What you need to do to upload your assignment:
Register for a written comment on draft. Our administrator will enrol you in MyFeedback Studio, and will email you information and a link with instructions for uploading your assignment into our Moodle paper. Please note that this is an online service and not a face-to-face consultation.
Written comment FAQs
When the tutor is finished providing your written comment they will do several things.
First they will transfer your assignment status from Not Marked to Released. There may be a little message at this level with a summary from the tutor.
Then they will check the box that says "Notify students"
Finally, they will save changes, which completes the previous two actions.
You do not need to wait for this to happen before checking on the progress of your comment in Moodle, but once you have been notified by Moodle, you can know that your assignment comment is ready.
You can also request further extension of feedback provided to you by a Student Learning tutor. The most efficient way to do this is to come to a drop-in. Alternatively, you can book a face-to-face consultation or video consultation and talk about the comments with a Student Learning tutor.
No. Not this time.
Usually, Moodle has a setting that is turned on by default for all assignments that are submitted to Tii. However, at Student Learning we have carefully turned off that setting to instruct Tii that it must not remember your assignment. This means that it will not register a Similarity Index (SI) from your assignment when you upload your assignment for your lecturer to grade. (It has never happened yet, but if you have any problems with this, please let us know).
