NCUK graduates can progress to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University of Waikato with a guaranteed bursary of NZ$5,000 per year, up to a maximum of NZ$15,000.

All other programmes = BBB

International Year One (IYOne) Entry to Bachelor of Business Year 2, Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Year 2 (selected streams) Guaranteed NZ$10,000 bursary ($5,000 per year for years 2 and 3 of study) Minimum C grade average with no lower than D in all components 120 credits with an average score of 50 or above
Master’s Preparation (MPP) Entry to postgraduate level study Guaranteed NZ$5,000 bursary Minimum B grade average with no lower than C in all components

Accommodation

At Waikato On-campus accommodation is available at our Hamilton campus. Students can choose between catered and self-catered accommodation. Students studying at our Tauranga campus have various accommodation options including self-catered apartments, homestay and private rentals.

Student Support

The International Student Services team is available to assist you during your time at the University of Waikato. Staff organise orientations for all new students and oversee visa renewals, insurance, international student events and our student buddy programme.
