Electrical and Electronic Engineering Subject regulations
The Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme is a future-focussed integration of core electrical and electronic principles in modern power systems, electronic design, computer systems and intimate knowledge and understanding, of programming, data management, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Electrical and Electronic Engineering is available as a specified programme for the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (BE(Hons)).
To complete the specified programme in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, students must complete the following programme.

Year 1 Students must complete the following papers: COMPX102, ENGEN101, ENGEN102, ENGEN103, ENGEN110, ENGEN111, ENGEN170 and ENGEN180.

Year 2 Students must complete the following papers: COMPX234, ENGEE211, ENGEE230, ENGEE231, ENGEE234, ENGEE281, ENGEN201, ENGEN270 and ENGEN271.
If you are studying the Diploma in Engineering Management, concurrent with the BE(Hons), you must complete ENGEN272 (in place of ENGEN271).

Year 3 Students must complete the following papers: COMPX310, COMPX349, ENGEE319, ENGEE331, ENGEE332, ENGEE358, ENGEN301, ENGEN370 and ENGEN371.
If you are studying the Diploma in Engineering Management, concurrent with the BE(Hons), you must complete ENGEN372 (in place of ENGEN371).

Year 4 Students must complete the following papers: ENGEN570 and ENGEN582.
Plus 30 points from Set A: ENGEE510, ENGEE523, ENGEE534, ENGEE536 or ENGEE559.
Plus 15 points from Set B: COMPX518, COMPX523, COMPX525, COMPX527 or ENGEE532.
Plus another 15 points from either Set A or Set B, or ENGEE505 or ENGEE531.
