This paper covers topics related to advanced structural analysis and design. The paper will have a specific focus on lateral and dynamic loading, specifically as applied to buildings under seismic loads. Structural dynamics will be covered considering single and multiple degrees of freedom structures under free and seismic loading. Application of analysis methods to structural design for earthquakes is covered.
