Literacy and Te Reo Matatini
We work collaboratively with schools and Kāhui Ako to achieve literacy success for students of all ages.
Our team of accredited literacy facilitators have a strong knowledge of teaching as inquiry, literacy and ESOL pedagogical and content knowledge. Our research based culturally responsive approach caters for diverse learning needs. We can assist schools and Kāhui Ako to:
- strengthen leaders and teachers understanding of literacy learning
- use literacy skills to access learning across the curriculum
- independently and effectively gather, analyse and use data
- develop a literacy strategic plan to meet the diverse needs of students in their school or Kāhui Ako
- be innovative with literacy approaches that will ensure that all learners are engaged
- grow the capability of literacy leaders and aspiring literacy leaders
- create educationally powerful connections with family and whānau
- develop confidence to use key literacy resources such as ELL
